yes, the new avatar is in honor of the beating of dead horses.

i may make it my signature photo

please give some thought about posting the BUCCANEER review as if you were a real paying customer.
believe me, we all need to hear the good, the bad or the ugly.

we have not been there for a couple of years and that last visit was just ok instead of the usual marvelous.

We're doing Buccaneer tonight...mixed thoughts on that..... but with the $100 comp from the Glitz it's a no brainer....

Haven't even tried the wifi on the beach.... too much work.... all I do is read, get wet and doze.....!

Congrats on your first day's casino triumphs! Hope to read more tales of winning. Alhambra has among the best video poker pay tables that I have found in Aruba (Crystal Casino downtown has the best). Wishing you good luck!

Y'day was another lazy day at the beach....... lunch at Pega Pega and had skipped breakfast. Breakfast here is OK.... not great, but in fairness it's tough to keep a buffet great with low volume... they do try and do an ok job at it.

Third day on the beach this year and I've see the same swimsuit on DW each day..... but a different color each day.... dunno what today will bring.

Last minute change of plans when DW wanted to switch it up and needed beef...! She chose Texas de Brazil and it was good as usual. Service was very good... way better than last year and we did remember to bring her teacher's ID for a 20% discount.

After dinner we searched some of the vendors for the ever elusive toe ring without success. Then walked to the Hyatt lobby which was really quiet... 2 nights in a row with no entertainment in to lobby bar which I found unusual.

Taxi took me to the Glitz and Patty to Manchebo around 10:30. I chased the progressive royal flush at video poker. It's up to 10,300.... and the 25 cent progressive is up to 3k..... No luck hitting it.... but, as usual, came close a few times.... close doesn't pay! Has some moderate success at video poker as well as at blackjack.... and the bonus for me with the blackjack table was playing with a good group of people...

Oops..... I'm overdue at the beach.....

CP, If you stay at Manchebo again, they will deliver a very nice fruit basket to your room when you check in. I'm not a big breakfast eater, so many days I just ate some of the fruit, while my husband would eat something from Dunkin Doughnuts, that we usually picked up the night before. When we stay at Costa Linda, we sometimes eat breakfast there. They have a breakfast special that usually includes eggs, pancakes or eggs and crepes with sausage or bacon. I don't remember if the price is $6.99 or $8.99, but the food is very good. Mathew's at Casa Del Mar is also a good place to have breakfast. I'm looking forward to hearing your reviews of the new chop house. Enjoy your day!

Just wanted to add - The restaurant at Costa Linda has a full breakfast menu - eggs, pancakes, waffles, etc. I think that Ricardo's right next door to you at ABC, also serves breakfast. Also Ricardo's is an excellent place to have dinner. It has become one of our favorite restaurants. You can dine on the beach or on the deck. The food is fantastic.
