Not sure if you have eaten at Matthews before, I've heard mixed things about the service but it was fine for us. Why I mention it, Jon described the filet he had there as melt in your mouth, so if you get the need for beef, it's a nearby option. We like their breakfast too.
7 trips in and still finding things to love. Trip #8 coming November 2017!

So with day 4 behind us.... it was another lazy day on the beach. I'm into my third novel since I got here and DW has worn her 4th new swimsuit..... all the same maker/style, just different colors.... she does make me smile with some of the things she does....! Skipped breakfast and walked over to Riccardo's for lunch.... I was doing some math and.... those 3 beers I have (with) for lunch at 8.5 ounces equal just a bit more than 2 'back home' beers......! So I'm OK and they help me nap well!

Outstanding dinner at Elements last night on their deck. Booked for 6:30 and had the best sunset dining experience since we've been coming here..... and our feet weren't in the sand....! A bit pricy ..... but worth it.

Off to the Hilton after dinner to try to hook up with Aruba4ever.... but didn't connect.... that's OK we'll still be 'forum friends' and I hope he won a ton of money at poker. The Hilton Casino has been nicely refreshed and doesn't stink of smoke yet.....! I did find a bank of 9/6 video poker machines and was quite surprised. They were right across from some 7/5 and 8/5 machines. Donated a few bucks and went to the Glitz where they saw me coming......! Moderate losses chasing that huge Royal and less loss at blackjack....

Here we go again...... gotta go nap on the beach.

Last year DW wanted a new toe ring. We visited our favorite jeweler downtown and he spent a fair amount of time sizing and fitting a gold band for her toe. He sent it out for sizing on the spot and we had it in no time.

Give this place a try: http://royaljewelers.net

Sounds like another lovely day, spending quality time with DW.
In a way, I have the same habit: it I really like something, I will buy it in different colors as well.

Elements sounds outstanding, the location must be breathtaking! Did you had a chance to meet Ewald Bieman?

Aww, it's unfortunate that you and Aruba4Ever didn't connect. Maybe another time...

Thanks for taking the time and keeping us in the loop about your relaxing vacation, CP!

Wow! I thought the only 9/6 machines (a.k.a. "full pay") were at the Crystal Casino. Hope the ones at The Hilton are still there in December.

Good luck chasing the progressive at The Glitz. That would be one sweet jackpot to hit!

It amazes me that when you think you have seen the most beautiful sunset in Aruba another "best" sunset comes along! Love Aruba sunsets

Yes on my visit to Pega Pega last year I stopped bye for lunch and a Mojito. I was surprised at the free pour. My one drinks filled a large glass and a small glass which the bartender gave me. Enjoy!

I agree about Matthews. I had the surf & turf and the steak was melt in your mouth.
