I love the beach (who doesn't?), anywhere that I can snorkel, The Donkey Sanctuary (much to the dismay of my daughter), the lighthouse.

Thank you for all of your posts, I have really enjoyed reading them. It is still snowing here in Pennsylvania, and I need an escape...if only in my head!

I still have about five months until I get to Aruba!

I have to agree. Aruba is much safer than Bermuda. I use to have to travel to Bermuda for work and I was always very careful of where I walked and never went out at night.

I am really enjoying your updates

Hi Lisa -- We, too, love Bermuda, and have been going for many years -- you'll find Aruba different, but will have just as much fun! We've been to Aruba once 3 years ago, and are going back in less than two weeks -- can't wait! Reading these posts will really help answer your questions -- it did (does) for me! I know what you mean about the Bermuda buses -- such a friendly experience! As far as crime/drugs go, it's everywhere, even in Bermuda now. (in October, someone climbed up to our balcony and took my wallet and cell phone while we were asleep -- we had let our guard down and didn't lock the slider) So, you just have to remember to be sensible now wherever you go. Too bad, but where there are tourists, there's money to be taken for drugs.
Seems to me you live in Yarmouth? We're in Falmouth!
    Have a truly wonderful trip!!!

Hey windy, we usually go to silver beach every summer for a long weekend stay at the seacrest. I will have to let you know when we go this year... haven't booked yet... how funny is that.

Of all the places I've visited, I still feel the safest in Bermuda, but it's also the island I'm most familiar with!
