We're back and it's soo good:) pt. 2
Tuesday
Anniversary day  No better place to celebrate than here. Running on the beach watching a cruiseship on it's way into the harbour - nice.[groundhog day] Breakfast and presents. Messages and calls from home. Off to the beach now. Later today Oranjestad and Flying Fishbone We went into Oranjestad for lunch. We ate at Cocoplum in the Main street. Good food and great natural juices and good service. Coffee at Starbucks and then some shopping. And after some debate at Benneton(took me five minutes to convince the cashier that a 20$, a 10$, a 5$ and a 1$ makes 36$ not 41$) we went to Ling's for food and beverage. After we returned to the hotel we were called up from the management. We were asked to appear in interview for the Bucuti. The shooting will take place on monday. Sadly we had to decline, we're going home on Saturday  In the evening Flying Fishbone It took some time to get there, but it was worth it. Good reception, nice table and an excellent waiter(David) We had Alaskan Salmon and Seafood Pasta - very, very good. After the intro cocktails we asked for bottle of white wine. I suggested one and explained for David that my wife doesn't like to dry white wine. He instead suggested another Riesling. It was great and 18$ cheaper. - top man. Dessert were Creme Brulee and Chokolate Fudge - very good. All in all a vefy good experience - again Wednesday Running on the beach watching a cruiseship on it's way into the harbour - nice.[groundhog day - again] Then beach life for five hours After that we went to Hi-rise area. brownies at Moka, beer at A Taste of Belgium and a walk at the beach. - and Havana Nines had a new collection on show, so another shirt bought. In the evening we walked to The Screaming Eagle. Lamb Rack and Swiss chokolate for dessert for me and my wife had Scallops Risotto and Tarte Tatin. It was very good and the service was great. My entree and dessert was very similar to my order at MJ, so let's compare Lamb Rack was best at MJ. Dessert and service was best at the TSE. Interior and decor clearly best at the TSE. Aircon at TSE was to cold, though All in all I think TSE was best. We'll be going back to both places, though Walking home barefoot at the beach - nice  Thursday Running on the beach watching a cruiseship on it's way into the harbour - nice.[groundhog day - again, again] Beach life - again
