What a difference a year makes

I cant believe the change in the Ocean at the Surf Club. This is just how it used to be ,CLEAN,CLEAR......NO SEAWEED.Got to love it.Last year what a mess.Thank you Marriott for all the work that made this happen.

i 2nd that! was there just last week and the conditions were great! there were some spots of muddy sea floor but very few in between - not even noticeable! they also completely redid the carpet in the entire facility. they're still putting the finishing touches to as we speak!

DannyO glad to hear that the ocean is still in good condition. They did work hard last year when we were there to improve things.

How is the situation with the beach? Are people upset about not being able to have the bimini's up front?

Bimini's are no longer allowed past the third row of huts. Personally, I enjoyed being able to use a Bimini instead of a hut because I like to be closer to the ocean but I do understand the rationale.

you are no longer allowed to use the Bimini's anywhere on the beach before the third row of the huts. Basically, you will only be alowed to use them in the back of the beach. They have tons of Bimini chairs as they were so popular but it will be interesting to see how many people want to sit at the back of the beach.

Oh I can hardly wait to see what goes on during week 51 and 52!!
