How can I improve on your wonderful presentation of "Why Aruba." We all can concur with the friendliness of the people and how wonderful it is to be there; and, also how sad it is to leave; but have the expectations of returning.
I always refer to "Aruba" as either "One Happy Island," or "Paradise," both of which tells the story of the Island and the People there. Thanks for your narrative. Ed |

Such a good story, I know what people mean Aruba is something that unless you have been you really cannot express, My friends always say, there are so many more places to go why always Aruba, I just say, GO!!
I know if i went to a TS,presentation, I would go and see what they have to offer, I would be afraid, because I know I would not be able to resist!!! Off to the beautiful island this Saturday, hope to be at the beach bar around 1pm, woo hoo |

My story of - why aruba?
Hi guys,
I am heading to my 6th trip to Aruba soon and getting super excited about it. Everytime I visit Aruba, it makes me think of my first visit and why I love this great little island so much. My first trip to Aruba was in 2002 for my 21st birthday. I heard such great things about Aruba, so my boyfriend at the time (now husband) and I went to a travel agent together and booked our trip. This was my husband's first trip outside of the US and also our first real vacation together. It is still the best vacation we have ever had. We stayed at the Hyatt for a week and just had the most amazing time. We rented waverunners, did a sunset sail, shopped in oranjestad, ate at some great restaurants, worked out, gambled a little, and met some great Arubans. The staff at the Hyatt were so awesome, one day I wanted Pizza for lunch and the Palms didn't offer it, so they ordered me Sbarro and served it to me at the Palms. Anything we wanted, they did for us, it was almost like we didn't even have to ask! I also got engaged during that trip to my now husband of 5 years. We had so many amazing memories that we will never ever forget and it is so great when we visit the island because even with renovations, new restaurants and hotels, more tourists, etc it is still the same Aruba with the same happy people and that will never change. People think we are out of our minds for loving Aruba so much, but so far no where else has come close and no place ever will for us. |
