Thread: Arrival Date Confusion at Divi

    Arrival Date Confusion at Divi

    Kind of freaking out, sorry have to vent. Just paid off our trip last week (37 days from today) and received confirmation email from hotel with wrong arrival date!!!! Called an hour ago when I got home from work to advise and girl told me she will call Divi and find out. Still no word....freaking out because I know they are getting crazy busy with all of the people trying to book Aruba from islands that no longer exist from recent storms. I do have my confirmation email (I changed the date once back in Feb. and paid the fee) they even emailed my confirmation change of date in RED. Trying to stay calm just have a weird feeling, hope it works out. The problem would be our flights of course. Giving it another half hour and I will have to call back, seems to me she should have called and checked on it immediately but that is just me.

    We had an issue a few years back and the Divi was quick to resolve. Another option would be to contact them through their website and reference your confirmation number. When you call your speaking with someone in the US and they have to call the Divi. When you use the contact page on the website it goes directly to the Divi. Take a deep breath I'm sure they will fix it. Let us know how you make out!!!

    Just called the rep in the US actually sent an email to Divi, I asked her if she could please call them so I can relax. She giggled and said she would. I would call but have no clue how much it would cost to call hotel directly. Everything is fine now she called and will be sending me a corrected confirmation page. Whew....sorry for venting to ya all. Just had visions of having to deal with flight changes if it came to that.

    Glad it worked out. I've always found the Divi reservation staff to be very helpful.

    I had changed our dates a few months ago because we couldn't get decent flights. I received the confirmation, but it had the wrong date on it. I called and they said they'd send me a new email. I waited a few days and nothing. I called back and got a very nice young lady who understood me freaking out, and sent me a new arrival email. I'm wondering now if we are all set though? I have the confirmation email so I would assume they would have to honor it, but I think I will email again just to confirm!
