Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

    Hello Everyone.
We will be heading to the Marriott in a few weeks. Please let me know if you have any tips or suggestions for making out stay here more enjoyable. Last year, we stayed at the Amsterdam Manor and I am sure this will be a totally different Aruba experience.
    Thanks for your comments!

get out EARLY to secure a shade hut at the beach or pool.
request a room on the non ritz construction side.

enjoy, and it will be a different aruba experience indeed.

eagle beach lo rise area vs. palm beach hi rise area.
    apples vs oranges sort of.
looking forward to reading your aruba story.

I stayed for two nights at the Marriott hotel with a lovely corner room facing the Ritz construction. Actually, it wasn't bad at all. The room (being a corner room) was huge and had a massive balcony. Since I don't spend time in my room during the day, the construction didn't bother me at all.

Palm beach is very different than Eagle beach but both enjoyable.

There are two Marriott timeshares, the Surf Club and the Ocean Club. Right next to those is the Marriott Stellaris Hotel. In order north to south on Palm Beach is the "under construction" Ritz, the Stellaris, the Ocean Club, and the Surf Club. They share internal facilities (bars, restaurants) but do NOT share pools or beaches.

An additional Marriott facility is downtown, the two hotels: Renaissance Marina Tower and the Renaissance Ocean Suites. The suites are half hotel, half timeshare (not an official Marriott Vacation Club though).

    These are all on Marriott.com

Make sure you don't get a lower floor room that overlooks the lobby. I could hear slot machines while I was laying in bed.
