I seem to have read that bad weather and heavy sea has arrived...on another post on this site today. I wonder if the beaches/ocean bottom has become "quishy" again; and, if so, would it be minimal or extra bad again?

    Just wondering.

That actually did happen when we were there just after Sea Solutions left. The sea weed came in and the floor did get squishy again for a little while. Once all the sea weed left and the ocean floor had a chance to breath, it was fine.

There was a lot of sea weed brought in and the Marriott did a good job of cleaning up all the sea weed that was washed up on shore. Unfortunately, the rough seas also made entering the ocean difficult too. Once the ocean calmed down it took a few days for all the sea weed to come to the front and be cleaned away, the entry became easier and an extra day or two for the ocean floor to feel better. You still had "spots" but it has vastly impoved.

Thank you, Randy. Since you have "first-hand knowledge," that should clarify how the ocean bottom...near shore...and the beach is now at the Marriott resorts Ocean and Surf Club.
