    Best Hotel?

    Hi all,

What do you think the best hotel is when it comes to the beach? My wife and I plan on visiting for the second time this fall, and we are beach bums, so we will spend all of our time at the beach. Last year we stayed at the Divi Phoenix and were very happy with the beach, I just don't want to book and be disappointed.

very subjective..............we all have different opinions.
those that love palm beach might be partial to the radisson or hyatt or marriott
those that love eagle beach might be head over heels in love with bucuti or manchebo or amsterdam manor

then there are the timeshares (not hotels).............. costa linda is on a stretch of fabulous eagle beach

if i had my 'druthers, i would choose................... ????

i bet many will choose bucuti and manchebo due to the magnificent beach.

If you were that happy with the Divi Phoenix... why not do it again? We've always been totally satisfied with the Radisson and not willing to risk something else! And we loved the Hyatt before that. We love the Rad because of the total feel of the resort, large beach, proximity to great restaurants and selection of casinos. It seems like everyplace on the island has great staff! If you're 'beach bums' (like we are) .... Eagle Beach offers great options too. It's all gotta do with what works best for you!

My take is that Palm Beach is for activities and action, while Eagle Beach is for relaxation and slow pace. We have stayed at both and love Eagle Beach and Bucuti. Now, the Divi Phoenix is uniquely placed. The traffic is low compared to everything above it. We were married on the beach there 3 years ago today. If we didn't love Bucuti so much, we might try staying there. To paraphrase the words of wisdom from Boogie Nights, "Stay where you dig."

Hi, We are in the early stages of planning our Aruba trip. In the past we always stayed at the Hyatt. Although the Hyatt is a beautiful hotel and the service is superb the ocean over there in front of all the boats is less than clean. We are thinking about trying a hotel on Eagle Beach. We are considering Bucuiti. We are not interested in an all inclusive. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
