no, but I have stayed at BB a couple of times for a day or 2 to extend my stay or arrive a day early and enjoyed their pool. It's small, quiet with a swimup bar and one day I was the only one there.

Can not even fathom that anyone would be allowed to use the Hyatt pool unless they stayed there. The Hyatt is one of the nicest and most $$ hotels on the island. If they allowed Brickell Bay customers to use their pool, I am sure the paying Hyatt customers would be furious.
I think I can say with almost 100% certainty that this is just a rumour. |

BB has a golf cart shuttle to the beach which drops you off at the Hyatt, perhaps that's the deal.
