Thumbs up

Ditto to above. Plus a Pizza place across the street and a bagel stand and a donut shop near by. And many restaurants you can walk to.

Make sure to to to the happy hour at the beach bar. They have entertainment, 1/2 price drinks, and snacks. Say hello to Lionel and Marina the bartenders. Great place.

You have chosen wisely. The beach is great. There are no kids at the Bucuti, and there are some very good restaurants within walking distance.

i have never heard a bad or even a mediocre review of the bucuti.

the place is wonderful

we have been there to visit, never to stay.

most of our aruba trips included bringiing our son..................then we bought lacabana brc timeshare units................then the son grew up and is now a man, but we still have lacabana...............so no bucuti for us

maybe someday

After staying in the high rise area the last 4 years, we are staying at the Bucuti in March and can't wait. I too have read great reviews, and I think it's the perfect location for honeymooners from what I've read. You'll have a great time, and can still taxi or bus to the high rise area and downtown if you so desire.

Enjoy!!!

You are going to love the Bucuti!! My DH and I stayed there for our honeymoon last December and splurged on the Penthouse. It was absolutely beautiful and amazing!!! I know that they were in the process of redoing all of the rooms so I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

The beach is so quiet and so clean!!!! The staff was really friendly as well. Make sure that you book the dinner on the beach--it was really romantic!

We can't wait b/c we loved it so much we are going back this December.
