where is the bucati in terms of the high rise area, etc.

bucuti is in the low rise area.
driving up the boulevard from downtown, (ocean on the left side) the bucuti is in the area between the Alhambra and the CostaLinda.

barely visible from the boulevard.

to get in there, turn left at the intersection of the Alhambra Casino (the hospital is on the right). follow the road as it turns right......past the Casa Del Mar, Aruba Beach Club, Manchebo/French Steakhouse and the Bucuti will be straight ahead.

it is a lovely resort.

thanks andrea, its one of the ones i'm doing a file on for her as possible places for a wedding. though i think they probably would prefer the high rise area so they don't have to drive anywhere. i'll check it out when we go in december.....

Amy, "Just south" of the high rise area? I would have said Bucuti is located in the "low rise" area and then referred to the map. But that's just me.

i did ask in reference to the high rise area because that's my landmark. i'm not yet familiar enough with aruba to ask anywhere else. andrea & amy did answer my question so i get the gist of where it is. actually we didn't visit the low rise area so i have no reference from there. but now i know which direction to go using the high rise as my landmark.

I normally would have said that but, as Andrea and Gaby pointed out, she needed the high rise area as her reference point.
