The Bunker Bar is all cleaned and spiffed up with some fresh paint. Dh and I had a couple of drinks there in December while chatting with Carmen.

Ever wonder what The Bunker Bar is like on St Patty's Day?

We were at the Divi last year and walked over St. Patty's Day night and everything was closed up. I guess it closes at 6 or at least did that night. I heard it was pretty wild - there were still decorations up. We're going back the same week this year. I'll let you know as we're planning on going over earlier to partake in the festivities!!

Is that place open to the public or is it only for Divi and Tam guests. It looks like a fun place.

Anyone can go there, however they do not accept cash. You would have to purchase drink coupons at the lobby of the Tamarijn.

Imo, with your staying up where you do (Gold Coast?), Bugaloe is a closer, but similar option. Though a bit busier.

We hang over at Moomba and Bugaloe mostly. Always looking for a new bar to explore!

There are two days of festivities. March 17 is St Patty's Day and March 18 is Aruba Flag and Anthem Day. One day of green and the next is blue.

Be forwarned, it's very crowded. I would recommend that you come on over on Tuesday March 16. That's Crazy Hat Day. Bunker Bar is only open until 7:00PM. Be there for sunset as that's when George plays Taps as the sunset sets on the horizon. Need to be there to appreciate what follows!
