Horrible, after the hurricane last week, for whatever reason, tons of sea weed came in there and was rotting on the beach and in the water (the water was black). They actually had the beach closed there. The smell is also horrible. Sorry for the bad news. If I were you, I'd find someplace else to stay.

I'm leaving for Aruba on Sunday too - whatever the conditions it's better than being at work. If the ocean is messy - I'll be by the pool!

Haven’t heard any adverse news as of yet on the Surf Club conditions. Spoke to someone who was down a couple of weeks ago & said power was intermittent, lots & lots of rain
. At the same token, I have also read around the forum that most has been fixed & cleaned up.
