We stay in the one bedroom golf villa, its like 1000 sq ft, two bathrooms and a pull out sofa in the living room although we are just two of us, we also try to get an upstairs unit that comes with a private deck with hot tub, bbq and wet bar (50/50 chance). Gives you about 1400 sg ft total. We do not do the AI, comes to $178 a night including all fees during the sale. A lot of BANG for your buck, absolutely love it.

Thanks for your posting. If we do the Divi, it would be a 1br golf villa based on my research. The 1000 sq feet is great, its almost as big as my first house, lol.

We've stayed at Divi Golf and Divi Residences. The units are very nice. We haven't been there in about five years, but they were in excellet condition when we stayed there. One thing to consider with a little one, they are set back pretty far from the beach. It is a pretty long walk to get there. They have shuttles that run around, and pick up guests and take them to the beach and casino area. We like to walk (and I know that you do too), so for us, it wasn't an issue. They have a very nice pool that your son would enjoy.

Another option is renting a timeshare from an owner, like you are doing at La Cabana. I highly recommend Costa Linda. They are two and three bedrooms, and are spacious and beautiful. You walk right outside the units onto a gorgeous, wide beach. The pools and facilities are great. I have been told that the kids program is really good. You can go to their website, look under the heading "resort" and you will see listings for rent by owners. You can save a ton of money this way. This is what we always do, and it has worked out great for us.

Thanks for the info! I will take a look at the Costa Linda as well. I appreciate everyones input. You have a good memory, I enjoy walking but my son is hit or miss with the walking thing with the extreme heat.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom. Large foyer, big bedroom, full bath off the foyer, full kitchen & living room with sliders off the living room to the pool area and off the dining room to the furnished patio.

We stayed at Divi Golf in a studio unit adjacent to the infinity pool. We loved the unit; it was exceptionally large for a studio and liked having a washer/dryer in the unit. The 1 bedroom units have 2 bathrooms. Truthfully, I don't think I would stay there again. Where we were located, it was a very long walk to the beach. They do have a shuttle that we could walk to that would take us to the beach but we stayed by the pool the week. DH is not a beach person. The pool was fine for me as we were moving to my unit at the Trop for the next 3 weeks. I had screwed up the dates of the 4 weeks I own at the Trop and rented out 1 of my weeks. I'm so used to the Trop and La Cabana that I love so much, that I compare everyone other timeshare to there.

Good choice, we just booked the same for 11 nights in April and got a package deal through Jetblue Getaways, $2346 total for two. I wanted to wait till Monday for maybe a Jetblue cyber sale but noticed the resort was out of studios and didn't want to lose the 1 bed room golf villa.
