    Divi or Riu?

We plan on staying at an AI and have narrowed it down to two choices! Has anyone here stayed at both the Divi All Inclusive and the Riu Palace All Inclusive? If so I'd love to know which one you preferred and why Thank you.

We've only stayed at the Divi AI. November it will be our 10th stay. We also switch over to a Non-AI for the last few nights of our stay. The reason we go back to the Divi is primarily because of the beach (and the staff). It's not crowded and there are plenty of waves. By comparison Palm Beach is much more crowded and the waters are calmer so to me it's more about low rise vs high rise area. The Riu, I believe also requires men to wear long pants at dinner and my DH is having none of that. I think you could be happy with either.

Lol, thanks. I'm wanting calm water and it'll just be Mom and I so I don't have to worry about my DH on this trip. We are leaning towards the Riu.

I've stayed at the Riu and other AIs in Aruba, but not the Divi. I happen to like the Riu. I feel their AI program is top notch, quality is great, and quantity is unbelievable.

It all boils down to preferences and likes/dislikes.

A friend recently stayed at the Riu Palace and loved the food at the buffet.
