Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort

Hi guys,

I was wondering whether you would be able to help?

We are looking to go in may 2011 for three weeks. We have read mixed reviews about the above resort. We think we will be booking through hotels . com and the room would be a studio. We have read that some of the rooms are in need of a refurb?

What is the weather like in mid may - early June? Does it rain much during this period? The last time we visited was in September- we have read that this is the worst time to go because there is no wind? It seemed pretty windy while we were there. We only stayed for two weeks and brought $1,700. What sort of amount would be appropriate for a three week stay? We will be staying room only- we loved casa tua!

Hope you guys can help!!!!

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Their rooms are in the process of being refurbished. One of our members is there now. Hopefully when she returns she can give an update.

June is the windiest month of the year. September traditionally is the least windy month of the year. The wind is what makes Aruba bearable.

We have been to Aruba many times in June and have had very very little rain.

May weather
Average high temperature 89 F.
Average low temperature 79 F.
Average temperature 83 F.
Average water temperature 81 F.
Average wind speed 19 mph
Average maximum wind speed 35 mph

June weather
Average high temperature 90 F.
Average low temperature 80 F.

Average wind speed 20 mph
Average maximum wind speed 37 mph
Average rainfall .70 inches (20.3 inches annual)

If you do not like wind, then June would more than likely not be the best for you. Stick with the fall months.
