I've heard a lot of people talk about getting a free suite upgrade. Is this as simple as asking for it? My fiance and i are booked for our honeymoon at the Hyatt for this next Monday, and I wasn't particular about my room choice. I would like to score an upgrade for us, if possible. Any suggestions?

I always send a nice letter/email to the concierge/hotel manager before a trip requesting an upgrade.

They typically will put a note on your reservation and if something is available your more likely to get the complimentary upgrade. Obviously since it's your honeymoon you should mention that.
