starting with the Hyatt, where is the Riu??? I tried looking on the map in the section on top that says "explore aruba" but it listed on the map all hotels but not the Riu. so if you were at the hyatt going towards the lowrise, what's the order of the hotels. I'm so confused, lol....

The Riu is 3 hotels down from the Hyatt - between the Radisson and Westin.

in this order starting with MARRIOTT
Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino
Surf Club and Ocean Club too.

Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Aruba

Playa Linda Tmeshare Resort

Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino

Occidental Grand Aruba Hotel (also some timeshare)

Brickell Bay Beach Club Hotel
Not on beach, perpendicular to the Radisson

Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa

RIU Palace Aruba Grand Beach Resort & Casino (also some timeshare)

The Westin Resort

The MIll perpendicular/across street from Westin and beach. (also some timeshare)

The Divi Phoenix timeshare resort.(and is it really on palm beach or eagle beach?)

andrea something is wrong, when you put a check in the box for accomodations and then zoom in on the map to see where the hotels are listed there isnt an "AC" tab for the Riu.

Try Google maps or even google earth.... great aerial of the resorts.

but in my earlier post i did say it was located between the rad and the phoenix

Most if not all resorts are labeled.
You can zoom in and zoom out.
Mouseover and drag on menu to move to a different part of the island

thanks everyone. i did put the check in the accommodations but it wasn't listed. i'm going to copy andrea's post with the list of the way hotels are. this way when i check places out for my stepdaughter, i know where i'm going, lol. thanks again

...........and the RIU cannot be missed. it looks like a huge mega monstrosity that to some looks very TAJ MAHAL-like and to some looks very out of place.
but, whatever your opinion of the looks of the RIU, one will never be able to say, "gee i did not notice it"
