I'm a Hyatt junkie. We're heading back for our 8th trip.
Grounds - Beautiful/Gorgeous - Birds, Swans, Flowers, fish etc... Pool - Awesome - with a water slide, vball, daily bingo, and swim up bar Beach - Right there Rooms - recently renovated - not that you will spend much time there Casino - takes your money Spa - Good massages as well as workout equip Camp Hyatt - we have two small kids. Never used the service but have used the baby sitting service through the concierge and the kids fell in love with Yolanda Restaurants - Best Sun Brunch on Island. Otherwise, Japanese, Italian, and Continental. Sunsets - the best from the Pier bar Watersports - plenty of option Location - near other high rise resorts, restaurants, and new shopping mall Cost - $$$$ - Priceless - can't wait to give them my money. |

Hyatt Beach
I do not stay at the Hyatt, although I do visit the restaurants, casino and pier bar. The grounds are pretty but, the beach is not! The Hyatt beach is small and packed with people. The water in that area is not very nice either. It's only my opinion of course and everyone has different needs but, if I am going to an island, I want to be on a beautiful beach!

We've been staying at the Hyatt for about 8 years straight, and it just gets better every year. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the new rooms are great too. I highly recommend the Sunday morning brunch at Cafe Japengo. Everything at that hotel is perfect, you'll have a great time! And when you cross the street, you're right in the middle of everything, the restaurants and shops. Nights at the Karaoke bar on the beach are alwayd fun too! Have a great time!!
