Hyatt palapas and cabanas

Does the Hyatt have a pay-up policy for palapas and cabanas? If so, how much do they charge?

Last time I was there, there was no palapa charge for hotel guests. It appears that they still have the same policy, as I read their spring newsletter. I will post a link for the newsletter on a separate thread.

Can you pay to reserve a palapa in advance or do you have to wait on line to get one? Imo, some people like the "pay" option in order to be able to sleep later on vacation.

The palapas to the right, closest to the Playa Linda are the reserve ones. You can pre-pay and have them for the whole day. We saw alot of families take advantage of that due to the sun factor with the little ones. Unfortunately don't remember the price. They do have a giant one right next to these that they use for weddings and such. Plenty of room there all the time. Only booted once for an afternoon suare'.
