Hyatt
Well I hate to be the one who goes against the majority, but it really depends on what you are looking for in a hotel. The Hyatt might have nice rooms and good restaurants, but the beach is plain old "Yuck!"
The beach is very overcrowded (so is the resort) and the water is murkey because of all of the boats. I like to go visit and have a cocktail at the pier bar, but there are just too many people there for me! Hey, many people go on vacation to meet new people and if that's your thing, then the Hyatt is for you. I love Aruba, but when I go to an island I am looking for serenity (an uncrowded beach where the water is turquoise blue) and peaceful days (not crowds where the person sitting next to me on the beach is so close that they might as well be sitting on my lap.) Just another opinion. Enjoy! |

We are staying at the Hyatt 5/2 - 5/6 and can't wait. It is a company trip so it is all expense paid..... They have set up the best of activities for us. First day we are going on a group Catamaran, 2nd day we have chosen to go on a speed boat that includes snorkeling and then we have a dinner cruise to enjoy. Our dining plan for 2 nights in the dine around plan and they pay for all of our lunches at the Hyatt. From what I understand the Hyatt is the favorite of the Island!!!! Enjoy!
