We are headed to the Ren. next week and my wife would like to know if there is any marine life (jellyfish) on the island. She noticed that there is a rock wall so many feet off the beach and was wondering if it kept out the jellyfish. She's been stung before.

jellyfish are INFREQUENT visitors to aruba.

that being said if there are jellyfish that want to get in thru the wall, there are many openings where a jellyfish could squish right through.

in 35+ visits, i have never seen a jellyfish on aruba.

Since 1997, out annual visits have taken us to Renaissance Island over 100 times. Only one day did we find jellyfish and the very next day they were gone.

There are angelfish, but that's about it.

you will see a lot of crabs running the rocks, and some fish, and occasionally a shrimp or 2, but i didnt see any jelly fish.
