I've been in the rooms at MVC (had friends staying there) and it's a very basic hotel but it's very clean/tidy and the staff is very nice. Only 19 rooms, very tiny wading pool (but Eagle Beach is right across the street) - palapas on the beach but you do have to carry a lounge chair from the hotel to the beach since there is no beach attendant. Hope that helps.....

Yep, MVC is in front of Oasis and it's where Tulip is located. Clean and tidy it is - MVC (and the restaurant Tulip) are run/managed by the owners of Amsterdam Manor.

MVC Eagle Beach Resorts
it was formerly a resort of sorts for the dutch marines.

it is far from 5 star.
it is certainly ok.....it is clean, the furniture and perks are sparse and the pool is tiny (really tiny) maybe 8 x 10 or less.

It is MVC Eagle Beach. We are arriving there tomorrow for 2 weeks. We stayed there last year for 1 week. It is a plain Jane resort, certainly not fancy schmancy. What it lacks in ammenities, it makes up for in ambiance. The beach is right across the street and Amy's right, you do have to carry your own chair across, but you WILL get a palapa. MVC is on Eagle Beach, much less crowded than Palm Beach. We really like it there. That is why we are back. We own a timeshare at the Marriott (that we are renting out), but prefer to stay at MVC. Tulip is also a very nice restaurant. The food is excellent! Hope this helps.
