    Manchebo vs Bucuti

I had pretty much decided that our next trip would be at the Manchebo. Now, however, I'm being drawn back to consider the Bucuti. I like the adult only concept. Also, when we did a walk through on our last trip it was blissfully quiet. The Manchebo has 3 restaurants but since it's next door we can walk over easily enough. What do others think?

I love them both but the Bucuti is better when it comes to the quiet, more personal service and the beach. I would choose the Bucuti.Manchebo vs Bucuti-bucuti.jpg view from my room. Loved their breakfast.

Bucuti would be my choice for sure out of the two. The bonus of no kids is priceless if you don't have any with you....I like quiet.

It's good to hear others opinions. When we did the walk through I was absolutely sold. Of course, Tom wasn't sure, partially because the umbrellas didn't look like they offered much shade. When I look at the webcam it looks adequate and my thought is that he is much more apt to just head off to the casino then spend all day on the beach.

We enjoyed our stay there and yes, its a quiet and peaceful place. Customer service was excellent. We requested and got a ground floor room which we really enjoyed. I liked having the easy access to our room when we were at the beach.
happiness is going to Aruba with your adult kids because they still want to come with their parents

Peg..you do realize that once you stay at the Bucuti, you may "never" want to stay anywhere else on aruba?!

Andrea, you may be right! Tom seems to be open to the Bucuti if we split the time with the Renaissance and I'm okay with that. We won't be going until November since we opted for Vegas for our May trip. Now I have to wait for JetBlue to open their flights through the end of November/December before I book.
