We have stayed at both the Radisson and the Marriott. I don't think you can go wrong at either resort. The Marriott has balconies which are great if you like to sit out. the rooms are bigger at the Marriott also. The Radisson has a great pool area and the beach is a bit nicer.

Both have a good selection of restaurants and bars.

Hope this helps.

We, too went to Aruba by cruise and loved it so much that we decided to take our first land vacation to see if we would like it.

With many thanks to ArubaLisa she directed me to Radisson.

We went in September last year-- going the same week this year (13th-19th)

for some reason I felt like we were the only ones here this week. The beach was like empty and its noon. (where is everyone) we did not make dinner reservations all week- walked into more places that were half empty.

Another thing i liked abut the Radisson-- i didnt have to get up early to reserve a chair/umbrella- you can do it after 4pm the day before. and we had our choice.

MANY places within walking distance for dinner. we went downtown one night to check out the casino there and shop- but never made it to the stores.

here are our photos from last sept.

Hey, its been awhile since I posted this question... but thanks! We'll be staying at the Radisson on 9/11 - 9/18, so we're psyched.

If you want the best beach area then I would choose the Radisson. I have stayed there several times & the staff is wonderful.

I stayed at the Radisson. I think it is a really nice hotel.

I did have a problem that I did not disclose when I did my review. I had brought my laptop with me, and when i came back to my room there were websites that were open on my computer that I did not go to. The hotel management is NOW saying that they are popups and normal. I do not agree.

They also threatened me that if I post what happened that they will contact their legal services.

The hotel is very nice, the beach is awesome. But just make sure that you lock up anything in your room.

How is that? You can say whatever you want about their resort and they can't do anything.

If they really told you that, I'd write a whole book about them and hope they tried to sue me.

Reviews are opinions and everyone is entitled to them.

If you want to verify if someone use your laptop without your consent just look at your internet browser history you will have access at all the visited websites with the hour and date of each visit...

Yes I know this. It was shown that there was access to my laptop at a certain time. The hotel is saying that it was a pop-up. Has anyone used hotel wi-fi and gotten popups about gaining a GREEN CARD?? That is the type of site that was up on my computer.

It is hilarious that the hotel threatened me with legal action because I told them that I was going to change my review of the hotel, and add to it the problem with my computer.

The day I was at the hotel and found the problem, I showed the security my computer and the website that was up. He then said that he was going to try to locate the housekeepers who gained access to my room. He was going to call an all-hands meeting the next morning to address this type of issue.

The hotel Manager Mr Middledorp said he was going to "take care of me". He did not do so. I had to email the hotel back to see what was going on, and I get an email back stating that they told me it was common for pop-ups about gaining a US Green Card. Weird from Hotel Access where people are on vacation and a majority of the visitors are already from the US.

That is when they told me they were going to take legal action against me if I posted anything derogatory about the hotel. I then got into my law enforcement position, and I quoted the US constitution that protects my freedoms of speech. I told them that if their legal department contacted me I would press charges against the hotel for Harassment.

Other than this problem the hotel was very good. I will never go back to the Radisson because of this though. They told me they would make it right for me the day I checked out, which they still have not done.
