We are staying at the Marriott Stelaris next month. I called the hotel to inquire about whether the rooms have refrigerators, and was told that they have coolers, not refrigerators? Can anyone tell me what this cooler is? And whether it can store milk / butter for a week? Thanks!

it's a cooler that is filled with ice 3x a day by the cleaning service. it works great!

seriously though, the room's are fitted with small refrigerators about 2' high and 1.5' wide. it's like just the ones we used in college dorms. due to its size, space is limited but 1 small milk and butter will fit. the freezer is a small compartment within the fridge.

The way she said it - it actually sounded like a cooler you fill with ice - thought that was odd. Thanks for the info.

We just returned from Aruba in January and stayed a few days at the Marriott Stellaris and they definitely have refrigerators in the room. Very small but they are refrigerators.
