Marriott to stay at???

I have both places booked for a May honeymoon and would like to get opinions on each. If people have stayed at both places, maybe a pro and con to each. We are pretty easy going. Want to be able to be active during the day, maybe play golf, do watersports etc. Nightlife/casino at night. Want a beach to not be TOO crowded, just relaxing weather ocean or pool.

Thanks in advance!!

simply put:

ren - not a beachfront resort. it's in the middle of downtown. you have to take a speed boat out to their own private beach (secluded). i've never stayed here so i can't comment on the hotel itself or the rooms.

stellaris - beachfront, small pool, largest casino (24/7 slots, table games are open mid afternoon). largest balcony, recently renovated rooms and lobby. overall, not a bad place. but it is the farthest hotel from the main attractions of palm beach - 15 min walk.

Thumbs up

marriott Stellaris would be the place to stay at, we stay next door aat the Surf club, there beach is perfect, not overcrowded as there is no hotel on the north side, plus it's close to the strip where al the restaurants and shopping are.

If you are looking for the shortest walking distance to the best restaurants and bars in the high rise area, Radisson is the best choice, located just across the street from where it all happens. They have the most beautiful garden, the beach is great and not too crowded, and the same goes for the pool area. The staff is unique in making you feel welcome and special. Their casino is also very good. I would highly recommend it for a honeymoon!

On Palm Beach: from south to north are:
Phoenix, Westin, Riu Palace, Radisson, Occidental, Hyatt, Playa Linda, Holiday Inn and then a ways down the beach are the Marriott Vacation Clubs: Aruba Surf Club and Ocean Club and the Marriott hotel. All are next to one another except the Marriott that is located further down the beach.

The Renaissance (Marriott is downtown) and does offer a Marina Tower as well as Ocean Suites (Tower). The Marina Tower has a roof top pool overlooking the marina and the ocean suites has a man-made beach as well as their own swimming pool. Their biggest attraction however IS their private island.
