YES laura
awesome suggestion. the convenience of a short walk to tam's DRUIF beach and the convenience of a timeshare. all inclusive option available too. Quote:

The Holiday Inn would probably work -- we were there in March. Elevators, very short walk onto the beach, level easy stroll to the pool. Didn't have any meals there, so have no idea what the food is like. It IS a Holiday Inn, but hey it's in Aruba! The beach is not as wide as Eagle Beach, which might be easier for them to get into the water, which imo is not as nice as Eagle, but it's also calmer. Easy walk across the street to shops and restaurants. Just some thoughts........

We were on the 5th floor of the Aruba Tower. The Aruba Tower elevator is very close to the front desk, front entrance, and beach (paved walkway to the sand), pool is just a 2 - 3 minute walk. There are three towers, one is quite far away and I would avoid that one.

the tower that Windy is telling you to avoid is the CURACAO tower.
we have stayed in the Aruba and Bonaire towers....pool view up high, maybe 5th or 6th floors. holiday inn sunspree in aruba is a BASIC Holiday Inn with no real huge luxury, that being said, it is clean, well kept, folks seem nice. i would stay there again. the all inclusive plan's food is mediocre at best. some rave about it. some hate it. most find it just ok. |

I would stay there again if need be, there is no "bad" place to stay in Aruba!!! but I like the clear water and some waves to play in at Eagle Beach! But, if I had trouble getting around, Palm Beach is much narrower and the water calmer.
