I am staying at LaCabana for a week but our flight comes in one day before. I need a place to stay for just Saturday. Any suggestions- I would love to stay in the high rise area for that night but I do not want to spend 400.00 for 1 night.
Thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts
Holiday Inn is a great option and usually very affordable.
I second the H.I. since you would like to stay in the high rise area. You can also check with La Cabana to see if they have a unit available for 1 night. On their contact page there is a drop-down menu. Choose Room Reservations and let them know that you are looking for 1 night before your stay. I have done this many times at La Cabana and they always had a room for me. www.lacabanabrc.com/do/contactUs.html
I second the recommendation from Cindy O for the Renaissance. With your paid night stay you get access to their exclusive island - and that is worth money all by itself. The photograph(s) you will capture in the water with those beautiful flamingos will be one of your favorite snapshots from the trip.
I also recommend that you look at Swiss Paradise Aruba. They have many 1 bedroom units but also offer 2 and 3 bedroom units also (in the event you are with a larger group). This is a new resort on the north end of the island located near Tierra del Sol golf course. They normally have a 3 night rental minimum but if they have ability in their calendar, they allow a 1 night reservation. The resort is new and the rates are very reasonable. It is a great place to spend the night. Their website is www.swissparadisearuba.com . The owner's name is Tina (she is very nice).
Go to Hotwire.com They have never done me wrong. Last year we stayed at the Divi (dutch something) anyway it was less than $100. I have also stayed at the Mill in the High Rise area for less than $100.
Check out Priceline... we did it and got the Renn. for a great deal...
Check out the express deal... Palm Beach/Ore...
Then click on free parking/internet... the only hotel in that area is the Renn..
I have used Priceline several times and never gone wrong... but I do get the extra $5.00 insurance just in case... knowing I can get a letter from my
