I just moved the post here to the "hotel" category.

Ask away about the Tamarijn. Our family will be returning to the Tamarijn for our 3rd visit on June 17. In the meantime, here are some threads which may help you:

Ah, the "free" coffee and tea machines are located behind the breakfast buffet and there is one in the Bunker Bar as well.

Ask away, after years of hopping around the hi-rise area we've
hit the tam the last 3 times. Not the "ritz-carlton" but the place
works at making everyone as happy as can be. Rooms on the beach cannot be compared to, there is something to say about not having to cruise through a hotel lobby and or elevator to get back to your room. The knowledge and different experiences you'll get from this forum will be priceless. Have a great time!!

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the Tamarijn and Aruba. Were you able to get any photos of the beach?

As to the timeshare issue, I have written twice about it on my blog:
http://www.bloggingtoaruba.com/my_weblog/2007/11/why-dont-we-own.html and most recently (as if you read my mind ) http://www.bloggingtoaruba.com/my_weblog/2009/02/pros-cons-of-timshare-ownership.html

Someday, if the timing, price and the resort were right, it could be a possiblitly, but right now we are content with resorts.
