    Radisson Reservation Question

I booked directly with the hotel for a few nights at the end of our stay. They have not yet charged my credit card for the deposit which I assumed would have been done at the time of booking. That was in June. I have a confirmation email from them in which I can click on my confirmation code and it goes to my reservation in their system. So should I be concerned?

As much as I respect opinions put forth on this forum, I would look at whatever paperwork you have, or whatever is on the Radisson website, and rely on that.

That having been said, it is not unusual for a hotel to hold the credit card number as a form of escrow guarantee but not charge the card unless you're a no show. They typically tell you whether or not they're charging the card immediately just before you click that little "book now" button.

I'm sure you're going to be just fine!

Thanks all! I have both website confirmation and their email confirmation. It does say that deposit will be charged at time of booking but I know some resorts like the Divi don't actually charge your card until 30 days before. I figure the worst that can happen is they don't have a room. Since its low season I think we would manage. Maybe it will be an adventure.

you are about 12 days from your 30 day mark.
check the cc then to see if the charge has been made.

Andrea that was my thought as well. They give us until November 23rd to cancel without penalty which is pretty liberal guess I won't worry too much!

Peg, my deposit was charged within a few days of booking. You may want to email them. I have asked a couple questions and they are very responsive. Here is the email address

Not sure when, but we will be back

I may end up emailing them but will probably wait until we're 30 days prior. Thanks for the email contact.

I meant to update this post when we got back. The Radisson never took a deposit for the 3 nights. When we arrived for check in they just asked for the credit card and we paid when we departed.
