Woo Hoo! I've been waiting to say that. Hilton does a good job and if the Radisson was to be sold I'm glad it was to the Hilton and AGF.

Players Choice Tours, Inc.-"The Aruba Specialists"

"It's official the news that many people were waiting for the Radisson Aruba has finally sold to Aruba growth fund and they will have the Hilton manage it. Hilton will take over July 15."

They also said that they expect the resort's rates to rise.

Great news on the change to Hilton not so great on the possible rate increase. That location is too good, would have been such a waste if it had gone AI.
Not sure when, but we will be back

Don't get too excited. The price for a room there could go up higher than the Hyatt. That would make it way to expensive for me.

I think my excitement is that will be Aruban owned and since it will not be all in inclusive it won't take away from the area restaurants. I'm sure the prices will go up but I'm not sure about being as expensive as the Hyatt. Besides with most hotels you can generally find a deal.

I hope they don't change too much. The grounds there are some of my favorite on the island.

Personally I would rather see a high quality expensive product rather than another Riu building with their one size fits all inclusive. More choices for tourists and overall better for the economy- restaurants and taxi drivers. But that is just me.
