Rennaissance Marina Towers & Suites

If I understand correctly, these places are at the Marriott? Are there timeshares for rent that are in the (Adult) Marina Hotel or are the hotel units and the time shares two different properties??

Also, can you buy an AI pkg at check-in at either place? (the hotel or the time-share) Or is that not an offered feature at Marriott?

Helpppp....newbee is confused! Thanks, Dino

Two different properties..both owned by the Mariott...Marina tower is hotel rooms, not time shares, and are geared towards adults. Suites are timeshares and hotel suites...Both offer AI, but I know no details on price etc....imop, I would not do AI anywhere in aruba, there is way to many fab restaurants there.
For a bit of more info, they are 2 different locations across the street from one another. They share the same amenities, pools, boat ride and private island. Marina tower has casino in it, suites have it across the lot...
There is also a mall underneath marina tower with upscale stores. The suites have the Renn. marketplace with asst restaurants, shops, ice cream, dunkin donuts, movie theatre...
Anymore ?'s ask away, cindy

Thanks Cindy for responding to both of my posts....just trying to come up to speed on all of this to make the best decision possible. I know it will all be much easier once we're there one time and "see" it all.

Sounds like renting a timeshare there would be a good way to go if we could find one around are dates. They seem to be priced much better than the hotel...or is there a compelling reason (especially for 1st timers) to stay at a hotel?

Thanks again! John

Dean, post what you need on this site and maybe someone can help you out. Also, Redweek.com has tons of posts with dates and availabilities...
If you are looking for a specific week at the Renn owners can change weeks pretty easily except for high week and low week.

Timeshares are in the suites, which is next to the Renn. marketplace. Remember there are 2 different Renn's there. One is facing, and across the street from Don Carlos ( that is marina tower) and the other is on the water . Confusing to explain...
