Resort phone question

Is there a charge to call a local Aruban cell phone (or any local number) from the resort phone in your room?

I know that the Radisson and Tamarijn charges. The Tamarijn charges 75 cents per call.

I own on the island and we are charged for useage for all calls. Depending on the number of calls it may be cheaper to rent a phone

No. You use either a headset or your built in Mic and speaker. Cost would be about 8 cents a minute. (Ithink)

Last year I needed a Doctor because I forgot to pack my blood pressure medication. So I called the front desk and they called the hotel doctor at her home who I spoke to. When I checked out I was surprised that I was billed for 4 phone calls. The phone charges were for the local doctor that the front desk called for me 4 times and I recall it was around 75 cents a minutes.
