    Ritz Construction Noise - Boardwalk?

    Hello,

Looking to possibly stay at the Boardwalk just behind Stellaris/Ritz area coming up June 19th. Was wondering if I should be concerned with any noise coming from the Ritz construction site?

Any input greatly appreciated. Also, general Boardwalk comments welcome.

    Thanks,

    Ted

imo, i think the construction noise being heard at the Boardwalk would be minimal/non offensive.

the Boardwalk is a nice, secluded, friendly and quiet place to stay.
we have visited friends who stayed there a few times and we found it nice and comfortable.
the owners/managers are quite friendly and while we were visiting the other couple the owners made us feel welcomed and at home.

    ........funny story about the Boardwalk.
we were there to pick up our friends to go out to dinner.
we were having a drink at the pool, before dinner.
the owner's cat was chasing an iguana around the pool deck and chased him right into the pool. the cat then also fell into the pool. the lifeguard in me, made me jump in to save the cat........i jumped in clothes and all :-(
dinner plans were delayed considerably while i went back to our timeshare to change into dry clothes.

    From Surf Club

We spent last week at the Surf Club and walked by the Ritz a number of times. Noise was not an issue.

We shifted gears due to super cheap snag on Stellaris room. Now lets hope not on the Ritz side of the property. Thanks! Counting the days.

I was curious seeing the $179 price for the Marriott plastered all over the internet advertisements. Priced it out earlier tonight and that price was for a adjacent construction view and did NOT include the 23%+ service charge and taxes.

A garden view including taxes was $233+.

    Ritz Carlton Construction Noise

We just returned from Aruba and visited Marriott a few times during our stay. Each time we we went to the Marriott, there was absolutely no noise coming from the Ritz Carlton Construction. It was as quiet as ever in that area. By the way, the Ritz Carlton property is huge.
