    Thumbs up Riu Palace

The Riu Palace is the best place to stay on Aruba. It is all-inclusive, has 2 pools, a spa, a gym, a swim up bar, a casino, great restaurants, updated rooms, European architecture, and a hot tub. It is a 5-star resort and is huge! The staff is so friendly, and like to become your friend and joke around with you. This is my favorite resort I have ever been to, and I have been to many resorts in Mexico and around the Caribbean. I highly recommend this resort, so when planning your next trip to Aruba please consider the RIU Palace.

we have never stayed there as the RIU.
stayed there when it was the GRAND in timeshare trade.

that being said the "pool" at the RIU takes my breath away.

I, too, loved the RIU but the beds were not comfy at all. Had to ask for mattress topper but the staff was super nice! The pool is amazing but when it's really windy, you get sprayed every which way when you're on the upper level of the pool.

We just returned from the Riu and the wife and loved it! We thought the staff was very helpful and the room very clean. We also thought the food was excellent!

I will be staying at the Riu when I go next week. I have heard fantastic things about it aside from the uncomfortable beds and seating at their pool beach area. I am curious if anyone has stayed there, was it really hard to get a good seat by the pool or beach? A few reviews I read said people put their towels out at like 4 am? That's crazy to me.

Friends of mine spent their first Aruba visit there last year and loved it!!! Food was awesome as well as everything else. Did not mention if the bed was comfy or not so assumed it was fine.

We have never stayed there but did ask for to see a room a few years ago. We were very nicely shown a Junior Suite which was beautiful. I could not believe the size of the bed! We actually went out on the balcony and had our picture taken with the pool and ocean in the background, it came out nice. I always do visit the casino at the Riu when we are there. Everyone should at least walk thru to check it out the lobby itself is something to see!

    Have Fun!

The Riu looks so nice, I love it too, but from afar, out of my price range, lol

I've stayed at the Riu once, and absolutely loved it. I'm not a pool person, although I went one day and did not have an issue finding a chair. We generally would hit the beach after lunch and never had a problem getting a palapa.

    Have a blast!
