Tam beach?

Going in a couple of weeks....Would like to stay in a building that doesn't have too many rocks in front of it....but also don't want to have to walk too far to grab a drink or a bite to eat....Also whats best to have...the top floor or ground?...Thanks

Photos of Beach Conditions in June
Buildings 1100- 1800
Buildings 1900 - 2500

Tamarijn Map including building numbers, restaurants and bars

To be close to beverages with a nice beach 1100 or close to beverages with nice beach 2100.

Some like top floor for security and the view. We prefer the ground floor to walk directly out onto the beach anytime we wish. There is a security bar on the door.

You should be fine at 1900 and it would be about .14 mile or 225 meters.

The Dutch Village is a timeshare resort. The Tamarijn sells it as all inclusive suites, but they are not oceanfront, they are behind the Tamarijn's buildings. The Dutch Village has three swimming pools. Depending upon who you speak to, Tamarijn guests have use of those pools.

The Tamarijn advertises three swimming pools, http://www.tamarijnaruba.com/features/index.php the one at the Tamarijn and two at the Divi. The pool at the Tamarijn is located between Pizza per Tutti and Coconuts Bar.

We just returned saturday and the beach along the tam/divi is the best I've seen it in a few years.
As far as how long is the walk, you'll appreciate a bit of a hike to keep the all-inclusive drinks off your hips.
And you can use all the pools at the Tam/Divi Aruba/Dutch Village/Divi Village/ and the Golf Resort.

We just returned last week and the beach at tam/divi is the best. Clean and clear. I would go with the divi village pool though, they have a awsome infinitty (sp?) pool with a bar in the middle. They also have a slide at one end - amazing views.
