Tam Room Question

My mom and son are traveling to Aruba in a few weeks to attend my wedding. They are staying at the tam and I was looking to get some ideas regarding building/room suggestions. I am familiar with the property but have never stayed as a guest.

I'm looking for something on the second floor and closer to the Divi Beach ( I am staying across the street in a golf villa) but also quiet at night and away from the late night scene. I'm pretty sure they are not going to be out partying until the wee hours of the morning!

Also, do you think we need to request a safe in advance or can this be done at check in?

Thanks!

Request the room now using the email address at www.tamarijnaruba.com
You would more than likely want the 1100 building it is closest to the Divi Village/Divi Links. It is still a reasonably easy walking distance to the Tamarijn lobby, restaurants and swimming pool.

Safes

All rooms at the Tam have safes, you just need to request a lock and key during check-in.

Be aware there is a charge for the safe. $2 per day if my memory serves me correctly.

Send a message via Skype™ to Andrea J.
last time we stayed at the tam, kevin (....aka dear son at age 18) LOST not only the key to the in room safe, but 2 pair of contacts, 1 pair of glasses, 1 pair of prescription sunglasses............total loss in dollars including the $75 penalty for the loss of the key= $500+.

all of this was over a period of 3 days while he was learning to windsurf

paul and i were unhappy with the losses.
to this day we cannot even discuss it.

and there is NO negotiating with the tamarijn re: the key fee.

It is always good to know some of my brain cells still function.

Sounds like the lessons were quite engrossing, either that or a pretty instructor!

Nope, same if you lose your "all inclusive bracelet".
