Tamarijn-Beach

The first three weeks of December we want to stay in Tamarijn.
But we are a little bit doubtful if it would be better to put off it to april.
Who can help us?
We would be very happy if somebody could send a picture or send a message.

Thank you sooo much!!
Your pictures are really very helpful for our finding to come back(TAM) in December.
My husband suffers after an operation in his knee,he is not able to "jump"over rocks, therefore we hesitated a little bit if it will be fine for him.
kind regards

Well, if the photos you posted (which were excellent, by the way) are any indication, the staff at the Tamarijn and Divi have certainly done their jobs well. Not that the beach was devastated, but a storm is a storm after all. It seems the mess isn't all that bad after all.

I know, easy to say when you don't live there and have to clean up after it all...

We love the locals in Aruba and during the last 11 years we
are lucky to won many friends there.
We know that Omar was a very terrible affair. We feel with the Arubians and we are sure that they will have lots of other problems than "how the beach looks like"...
But,sorry to say ,for us who are working hardly during the hole year it is also important to have a nice and relaxing vecation.
best regards

We love the Tamarijn and the folks there. Our last trip, the beach all but disappeared in front of the 1200 block. We are hoping it comes back. If not, we'll just walk down to the beach between the Tam and Divi and jump in there and swim over to where our room is! We have been going for 12 years, (13 trips) and our 13th year is in 28 days. The weather report is for snow, at least 6 inches, on Friday and we are in a weather pattern of snow every other day. I Woke up this morning to ice over snow. Knowing I have Aruba waiting for me is the only thing that gets me through the winter months! Just found out that we are going in July too. Does anyone know if The Mexican restaurant they were building at the Divi is finished yet? Any new machines at the Alhambra casino? Thanks all.

If no one replies, do you promise to come back and give us an update on the Mexican restaurant?

Also curious to see how much, if any the beach at the Tamarijn has recovered since Omar.
