Tamarijn Beach

Arriving on 2/25 for 13 days, staying in Building 21. How is the beach in that section of the resort after all the storms? Sand? Rocks? Seaweed?

Landed today and staying at Divi Golf Villas, got to check out the beach between the Divi and Tam this evening, it's as wide as it was last January when I was here. Once we turned the corner at Casa Del Mar, the loss of sand was noticeable. Didn't get a chance to head down towards the Tam as it got dark, but if the beach between the two is any indication, You will all be fine for you coming trips. Can't wait to park myself out there tomorrow. If I can figure out how to post pics, I'll see what I can do.

Any updates on beach conditions?

Waves are "up" again today...

Lisa, I was on wunderground.com, (appears to be a live satelite shot) you can zoom into the point just in front of the 1300 block and it appears there is beach in front of the rock wall. You can see the waves coming in and there may be some erosion but it appears the beach may be in good condition.

I'll let you know first hand in a day or two.

Thanks Joe! Cannot wait to hear, and I hope you and Mimi have great weather! Unfortunately the satellite photo has not been updated since the Surf Club was mid-construction .

Well it was a good try anyway. As long as the waves aren't coming into our room like they did last March I'm ok with whatever condition the beach is.

Heck, I'd rather look at anything in Aruba than the mounds of snow I currently have outside my office windows.

Thanks for that satellite link - that was awesome to look at. It looks to mel like there is more beach than there was when I was there in early November (shortly after the hurricane). I'd be interested in an update as we're arriving on the 16th.

Unfortunately the satellite photo is a couple of years old.

Joe and Mimi, have a fabulous time!

Tam's Beach

Just back from 18 days at Divi Village.
The beach at the Tam, between Tam and Divi Aruba, at Divi Aruba
is in quite good shape.

May wash away with the next storm
But, it was ok this past weekend.
