Is there an internet cafe or a place near the Tamarijn where I can access my e-mail? If so, what's the fee for using this service?

Yes there is an internet cafe... it's down the little "hallway" that leads to the stores right on the resort. Just walk past Fred at the timeshare booth (watch out for him, he will corral you eventually...) and keep going. It's on the right hand side.
As for the prices, (don't quote me on this, my brain's a little fuzzy) I believe it was something like $5 for 15 minutes, $10 for 1/2 hour and so on. You buy the time at the front desk.
But to answer a question, yes, it's available.

I believe Mr. Ratt is correct...5 dollars for like 15 minutes....Dh and I both got one, but I ended up not using mine and gave it to Dh....nice cool comfortable place to check email and converse with family....

Price?

I know they were switching providers and had no service and then limited service.
