    Question Upgrade tips?

Leaving for Aruba on Monday Aug 13th
Was just looking around different forums and reviews, and I see a lot of people posting they got free upgrades for there hotel room.
I wish I could be so lucky, as I am just hoping me and my party get the connecting rooms as requested. Anyone ever just ask for an upgrade. I Know the hotel (Radisson) Is not going to be full for the week we are staying.
This is a weird post I know , but hey why not ask!
    Thanks in advance.

Never hurts to ask.... We asked and got an upgrade this summer at the Radisson. My BIL upgraded from gardenview to delux oceanview a couple of years ago for 50/night. My only stipulations at the Radisson are that I don't want to be in Curaco tower facing the Rui and don't want the ground floor. Any other room is great!

Thanks for the good info. This is not our first time in Aruba, but our first stay at the Radisson. Been At the Marriott, and Westin. Traveling with the kids, so I thought the radissons location could help with food. I would love and upgrade to bigger bead, as doubles seem so small. We have three to a room.

You'll love the Radisson.... The kids will love the pools.

The Radisson rooms only offer one king or two doubles. There are no rooms with one king and one double.

The other option is a suite with a king and sleep sofa in the living room.

We have been three to a room with two doubles a couple of times at the Radisson and made out just fine.

As to "tower request", I would make that through your travel agent.
