Welcome Back "gifts/perks" at your Resort?

Does your resort acknowledge that you are a past guest?

Do they give you a little extra something as an acknowledgment ?

In my case as an owner at Lacabana.........no.
The acknowledgement that we get is being greeted by name by friendy staff.

In my case as a guest at Bananas apartments....no. No acknowledgments, no perks, but yes, a friendly greeting.

As a guest at Renaissance Ocean Suites ... no.

    What are your experiences?

We always receive something nice at the Ritz. We have received a nice bottle of wine, chocolates, rose pedals on the bed in the shape of a heart, photos from previous trips framed, nice welcome back notes....gifts for my son....gifts for my wife, Ritz shirts for all of us. The list goes on and on.

For our anniversary stay at Holiday Inn, we had a bottle of Sparkling wine. I had checked the box that it was our anniversary when I made the reservation direct with Holiday Inn. As Silver Elite rewards members we really feel like they go a little extra with customer service and small perks to make you feel appreciated, including nightly turn down with chocolate and reserved palapas.

Manchebo provides very welcome mojitos delivered to you while checking in at the lobby counter and as 2nd year guests last year we were also given 'repeat guest' t-shirts..... And....... when leaving, we were given travel bags of snacks including peanuts, a Kind bar and a fresh baked cookie......

Our manservant, Spartacus Agador, greets us with a pitcher of margaritas and a floor show.

Amsterdam Manor has a Loyalty Program which is available to all repeat guests that includes free drinks, tshirts, upgrades, etc. I have more Amsterdam Manor tshirts than I know what to do with at this point. LOL!! We always have a bottle of wine or bubbly in our frig upon arrival and sometimes also a bucket of Brights since they know I love a cold beer while I'm unpacking. They take good care of repeat guests.

We have a timeshare at the Divi Golf, and recognition is non-existent.
We are, after all, according to the sales person that keeps trying to endear himself, "walking atm's".
That being said, we continually are treated like royalty after 17 years at the Tamarijn, and that started after the third year.
Always a bottle of wine, 2 glasses and tshirts and such.
Small, seemingly inconsequential items, but it's the thought that counts.
And the wonderful room maintenance people.
    We've been very lucky.
