Cool What is close by Manchebo?

I'm trying to figure out whether I want to do the all inclusive or not. What grocery stores, restaurants, fast food places ect. are walking distance from Manchebo? My wife and I also like to drink a lot when we are on vacation. How much are the drinks at Manchebo and what size are they? Would be better off just doing the all inclusive? Thanks for any help.

most restaurants have happy hours and you can walk up and down beach to enjoy them...drinks are not cheap and for a normal 8oz glass it can run up to $8 dollars each. to get to grocery store you can take a bus which will drop u off and pick u up almost right outside the store. if i remember correctly there is a subway in the alhambra casino just a few yards away...mcdonalds is up by high rises and too far to walk...suggest all inclusive and maybe a car for a day or two...

If you are a person to drink whether allot or little, yes, it is expensive and definitely choose the all inclusive, but there are also some hotel that do drink packages or breakfast and all drinks. Check out the Westin, Hyatt, and Renaissance.

Hello final4,

Manchebo is quite a ways from my hotel, the Tamarijn. But if your looking for an all-inclusive, try divi divi, or the tamarijn.. www.tamarijnaruba.com. You can see both resorts from this web page.. They are sister hotels, so you can use both facilitys.. And the beach is usually a little slower than the High Rise area..

And if you didnt want to do all-inclusive their is the other divi resorts. The one behind us is the divi dutch village, and the grocery store is within walking distance from our hotel. But it's located just behind the Tamarijn, you can still see the water in between our buildings, but its just not the same.. Ive been spoiled by opening up our slider to the BEACH and the water right there.. Even though Manchebo beach is huge, The Tamarijn resort which is related to the divi, has longest stretch of Beach front property in Aruba, and the people are really friendly and the drinks are great..
Another thing to think about is, Dinners are fine to make reservations, but who wants to get up and bother with breakfast.. All - Inclusive is the way to go.. Check it out..
