Has anyone been there recently who can tell me how the new construction is going at the Divi Phoenix?

The latest completion date, ( and this was given to employees last week), was mid _December.

Progress has been made but as per the way of the island, is delayed

Hey! I just came back from the Phoenix on the 12th. Work was being done but not rapidly... All four building structures are up though the new pool and restaurant have yet to begin. When i was leaving they started siding the first building. I had a tour of one of the umm *EXAMPLE* units and wooow they are amazing though pricey. Anyway Paula in the members office told me that everything would be complete by October 2008. Hope this helps.........

Just got back 1/19 from Aruba. New units status: Bldg A, roof on and exterior panels! Bldg C, slightly behind A with exterior mostly on; Bldg B- looks like all windows and doors framed and skeleton mostly up - roof not on yet; Bldg D, just the basic frame. I was told they are shooting for October. They were delayed by rain in December, but there were guys all over the structures and working on Saturday as well. I think it is moving along quickly as if to try to make up time. With luck, they will finish this year!
