I was searching for available timehare exchange in Aruba for 2016 on the Interval Website and saw a lot of availablity for The Divi Golf Resort. However, the exchange information mentioned that the resort requires a purchase of an all inclusive plan.
I think this is unfair and why I now hate timeshare so much! Years ago I used to trade to this wonderful resort in Cancun called The Royals Resorts. They own about 6 or 8 resorts in Cancun, Playa De Carmen. I used to get exchanges to any of their resorts quite easily. About 2 years ago they started requiring people who exchange to their resorts from Interval or RCI to purchase an all inclusive plan. For the people who own at the resort, its an option to purchase an all inclusive but for the guest who trade to their resort, its mandatory.
I guess this is becoming the norm because a lot of other resorts in Mexico started requiring a purchase of AI if you trade into their resort but I was surprise the Divi started that as well.
