To all Dutch Village Owners:
My family and I stayed at the Dutch Village 7/26 thru 8/04. While we were there my husband and then my son both developed abscesses and ended up in the hospital on antibiotics from the dirty conditions inside the rooms. At this point my husband and my son are on their 7th course of antibiotics, creams, my son had breast surgery due to the abcess and have seen several specialists. I attempted to contact Divi several times and I kept receiving form letters. It was only when I told them it was a mediacl issue did an attorney from Divi contact me. I have been asking to speak to someone in management and I was told I could only deal with their attorney. Fotr those of you staying at the Dutch Village, please, please stay on housekeeping to clean. Don't accept mediocre cleaning. You may end up very sick like my son. My husband is doing better but my son actually now has to be on antibiotics for 2 months and has to take baths daily in clorox bleach for 1 month. We love Aruba and have been vacationing there for 20 years but the Dutch Village is filthy. Just be aware.
