Just got back..very disappointed to find out one of our favorite
restaurants last year, Gambero Rosso has closed already!

We had enjoyed going there in the past, however, this year I had emailed them for a reservation and they never bothered to send a response back, which was very unusaul for them. In March, we wandered over to the mall/Condo complex and were shocked to see that many of the stores that had originally opened up were now gone. Gamberro Rosso was still in business but you could just see that with no one around it was only a matter of time before it would close too. What a shame as it was a lovely place.

It is a shame that this restaurant didn't do better,the location wasn't great,the food was horrible,but the service was great and the restaurant was very nice.Its a shame that some one would spend all that money on a restaurant and couldn't get a good chef .We ate there in October and would have never go back.Maybe someone with some restaurant experience could make this work.

Location, location, location...
I remember years back a small restaurant in downtown Oranjestad. You had to know if was there. You needed to know what door to enter and walk up the stairs to walk out into this most romantic rooftop restaurant. The food was splendid with service to match...but no business owner can stay open with a lousy location.

Yes, I still miss 3 Little Birds.

Not surprized, little traffic when we were there. Our usual fav, La Tratoria, also closed. They were upstairs in the same building...
